This offering from Calphalon features 12 pieces, with a hard-anodized exterior, and non-stick interior. The cookware set is oven safe up to 450 degrees, so you can easily use it in the oven. This cookware set performed well for us, but we just didn’t feel the look and quality was quite as high as are number one ranked cookware set.

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 10-Piece Cookware Set

Another Calphalon makes the list here, this company knows how to make quality cookware. We were very impressed with this 10 piece cookware set, you are going to get a great set of pots and pans here. These are again hard anodized on the outside and non-stick on the inside for easy cleanup and high level of durability. This cookware set is slightly cheaper than our second ranked set since it has only 10 pieces, so you can save a little money here, but for slightly more we do recommend getting the full twelve pieces that come with our second ranked set if you want to get a Calphalon cookware set.
PROS:

CONS:
- Some complaints that non-stick finish wears off

We really love the beautiful look of this stainless steel cookware set from Calphalon, another great offering from this company. These have two layers of stainless steel encapsulating an aluminum core, so heating is fast and even. No non-stick surface here, and they are dishwasher safe. Choose these pots and pans if you like stainless steel and don’t need a non-stick surface.

This KitchenAid cookware set has a beautiful stainless steel look, and is a great value. Although this lower priced set is not quite as high quality as our higher ranked cookware sets, if your budget does not allow for the purchase of the higher priced sets then this is a good alternative. These pots and pans have an encapsulated aluminum disc base with polished interior and brushed exterior finish. Being stainless steel they have are not non-stick.
